The Bridal Party:

Maid of Honor:
Anne “poweranni” Gillingham

My sister Anne and I have been attached at the hip since birth *though we are not twins, my  friends…as you know*,   

I am honored to have Annie in the wedding as my maid of honor to support me and our family     onour special day! 

Jessica “Miss Jessica” Reinert:

Jessica has been my closest compadre in San Francisco since we moved out here after college in   1999. We were college roommates at the University of Wisconsin and moved to California at the     same time. Jessica has been an extremely important force in my life and an exceptional friend.          I am very grateful to have her in my life.

Elizabeth “Lizo” Markert:

Lizo and I went to High school in Clayton, Missouri and College together at the UW. Even though    we don’t live in the same area anymore, we have remained best pals and she is one of my oldest and      dearest friends.  The Markert family has also been very supportive and loving to me over the        years and I am excited to have her sister, her sister’s husband, and her mother at the wedding.        I am just thrilled to have Liz in the wedding party! 

Megan “Mean Megan” Musbach:

Nothing mean about Megan, she is the sweetest and most thoughtful friend you could ask for.    Megan has been the grounding force for years throughout thick and thin and I am grateful to         call her cousin Megan and one of my best friends. 

Claudia Herbert:  Claudia is my junior bridesmaid with all of the flower girl duties too!        Claudia is my first cousin, daughter of Frances (Gillingham) and Eric Herbert.  Frances was 5      and the flower girl in my parents’ wedding and my sister Anne and I were the flower girls in her    wedding 25 years ago!  It is a true pleasure to have darling Claudia in my wedding and the       support of the Herbert family!

Best Man: 

Atle Myhrstad:  Atle is Thor’s younger brother and lives and works in Oslo, Norway.  Atle is         a boat lover and is working hard on his MBA in finance. Currently also an Engineer for Audi,         he  is a very busy guy! We are delighted that he is coming from Norway to get Thor through the       big day! J

John Gillingham Jr:  John is Nicole’s younger brother. John recently graduated from the    University of San Diego and is now working toward a career as a financial advisor. John has      known Liz, Jessica and Megan for many years and we are all excited that he is going to be            part  of the wedding party!  

Rod McLean:  Rod and Thor went to the University of Minnesota together and have remained   close friends since. Rod and Thor moved to the Bay Area at the same time after college. Rod is       an industrial safety engineer so keep your hazards away!

Abhijit Das:  Abhijit and Thor worked together at NBCi Thor’s first job after college. 

He currently lives and works in the bay area.  He is really in to rock climbing, exercising and his motorcycle. We count on Abhijit to contribute plenty of energy, and adrenaline to the wedding.

Jr. Groomsman/Ring Bearer

Nick Brady:  Nick is Nicole’s first cousin son of Bill Brady. Nick is in his first year of college at Cabrillo and is looking to study Business Administration.  Nick has a great sense of family and       we are so glad that he will be part of our wedding.  

Officiant: 

Kathy Bisbee has been a dear friend of mine for many years. She is very active in the Santa Cruz community, we met original when she was my web-design teacher back in 1999. Kathy is a very      well read and spiritual person. It means a lot to me that she will work with Thor and I on our      vows and the wedding ceremony, and ultimately make us officially man and wife. 

Ushers: 

“The E’s”

Eric Deterding:  Eric has known me since I was in diapers, and knows Thor very well (from his    adult years).  Eric is one of Uncle Bill Brady’s best friends and the brother of my aunt Stephanie Musbach (mother of Megan).  Eric is an accomplished carpenter and contractor and recently   finished remodeling our entire home in Concord.

Erik Brady:  I’ve known “little Eric” since he was born, son of Bill Brady. Eric is a Sophmore      in high school in Santa Cruz and enjoys sports and hanging out with his friends.  Little E is very    sweet and has always been near and dear to me.  

Poetry Readers:

Natalie Herbert:  Natalie is in her sophomore year of High School.  Natalie is the middle     daughter of Frances and Eric Herbert.  She is an accomplished student, writer, public speaker, trumpet player, video-grapher and athlete. Natalie is going to read a special poem at our       wedding.

Gloria Herbert:  Gloria is a senior in high school and the oldest Herbert daughter.                 She is a fantastic volleyball player, member of the student council, an honors student and         much much more! Gloria will share a poem or special ritual at our wedding.
